About Us

Veganfest Integrated Health evolution began more than half a century ago. Our founder, AKA "holistic dr.georgie " began her healthcare journey at her elementary school nurse's office while getting her "Polio vaccine". Upon seeing the poster of a child with crutches, Dr. Georgie made her first $10 cents donation to the "March of Dime" at age of 6. She was so glad she could run and had 10 cents to donate from her candy money.
A decade pass, while Dr. Georgie taking her first Anatomy and Physiology class in high school, a  world medical event was to seen on TV from So. Africa; the FIRST HEART Transplant! The heart surgeon present a big MECHANICAL HEART and the patient was a 43 year old dentist. Filled with Esteem and pride, Dr. Georgie shouted, " That what I want to be too, a HEART SURGEON.
Going off to college, Dr. Georgie, focus her studies in sciences, graduated with B.S in Microbiology & Biochemistry.
Her hormones got the best of her, she ended up marrying Dr. Fong at UCB and had 2 children, so medical school became out of the question, another 8 years, so Dr. Georgie got a job at Smithkline as a Hematology chemist, a Biological Control chemist for mosquitoes and even a job as an electrical engineer when Silicon Valley was "Birthing". But none seem to been satisfying and the commute to work was long, took four hours round trip. But that was a flop when the postman yelled at me for putting flyers into mail boxes without paying for stamps. My daughter, Charity, said she would like to have a chocolate factory like Willie Wonker at work, that what she would enjoy doing, so that what I had to learn and that what we did. A year later, the local newspaper, Santa Cruz Sentinel  was offering to Fund a triathlon to raise funds for the schools athletic teams and was looking for sponsors. So, this was my return to "donating".  I was the food sponsor, organic figs, apricots, and pineapple bars for the 1200 hungry athletes. Then accidentally my briefcase was stolen from my car at the warehouse and thrown down the road at another business. The couple called and had my briefcase return, then also mentioned they were rich young retirees who both inherited lots of real estate and was retired traveling in their million dollar motorhome and they were the organizer of the for the Kidney Foundation, so I ended up being a food sponsor for their golfing tournament fundraiser, and later I added myself to be the 5k sponsor for the American Diabetes Association. Shortly I realized that what I like, something medical so I went back to college to get my master degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry, finally I took a naturpathic degree from
